Biography
Mia Polo’s practice focuses on complex trust and estate litigation, representing professional fiduciaries, trustees, conservators, and beneficiaries in various contested conservatorships and complex matters. Her areas of expertise include breach of fiduciary duty, undue influence, financial elder abuse, will and trust contests, accounting disputes, community property disputes, and actions for the return of assets under Probate Code § 850.
She oversees cases from the initial strategy development through all phases of pre-trial and pre-mediation litigation, and she represents clients in court appearances, settlement conferences, related civil proceedings, and mediation.
Mia is known for her clear and empathetic communication with clients, helping them understand complex legal concepts and providing actionable advice during emotionally charged and high-stakes disputes.
