Rebecca Stephens Receives 2025 Outstanding Barristers Award

Farella Braun + Martel is proud to announce that partner Rebecca Stephens received the 2025 Outstanding Barristers Award from the Bar Association of San Francisco (BASF) at today’s Annual Membership Luncheon.

BASF highlighted Rebecca’s contributions:

Rebecca has been an active member of the Barristers Club for more than eight years. She has served on the Barristers Board of Directors, chaired the Barristers Labor & Employment Section, and is an active member of the Litigation Section. She has organized and led CLE programs on advising employers during the COVID-19 pandemic, business development, and navigating the California bar exam. Rebecca always shows up consistently and enthusiastically to section events, socials, and networking programs, and is a generous mentor to newer attorneys. Her presence and leadership make her an invaluable member of the Barristers community.

At Farella, Rebecca advises small businesses and global corporations on a wide range of employment matters, including developing and implementing sound employment policies, conducting workplace investigations, overseeing accommodations and leaves of absence, and administering separations from employment. She also represents employers in single-plaintiff and class and representative action matters in federal and state courts, including wage and hour, wrongful termination, retaliation, and discrimination cases. Rebecca served as a law clerk and attorney-advisor to the Honorable Jennifer Gee of the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Administrative Law Judges. This year, she is a member of BASF’s Labor & Employment Law Section’s Executive Committee. Rebecca received her J.D. from Northwestern University School of Law.
