Jeffrey Hamilton Named a 2021 Leadership Council on Legal Diversity Fellow

Northern California legal powerhouse Farella Braun + Martel is proud to announce that Jeffrey Hamilton, chair of Farella’s Cannabis Industry Group, has been named a 2021 Leadership Council on Legal Diversity (LCLD) Fellow. Jeff joins a select group of experienced attorneys from diverse backgrounds who have been recognized for their potential as leaders in their organizations.

The landmark Fellows program was created by LCLD to identify, train, and advance the next generation of leaders in the legal profession. Founded in 2009, LCLD includes more than 350 corporate chief legal officers and law firm managing partners who are committed to creating a more diverse and inclusive legal profession.

Jeff advises startups to publicly traded corporations in a broad range of complex transactional matters from mergers and acquisitions, including Hart-Scott-Rodino filings, to equity and debt offerings and venture capital financings, to day-to-day business management, such as fund formation, negotiating commercial agreements, assisting with corporate governance, and overseeing public company and regulated industry reporting compliance. Jeff is a member of the Executive Committee for the Bar Associations of San Francisco’s Cannabis Law Section and a member of the National Cannabis Industry Association’s Cultivation Committee. He is recognized among the Associates to Watch in Chambers USA’s Cannabis Law section.
