Sarah Bell will moderate the panel "PFAS: Everything Everywhere All at Once"  at the American Bar Association's 2024 Environmental & Energy, Mass Torts, and Products Liability Litigation Committees' Joint Regional CLE Program.

Session Overview:

PFAS issues have popped up everywhere. This panel will discuss the current state of PFAS litigation, including allegations of environmental contamination and personal injuries, and claims related to AFFF and consumer products. Panelists will also discuss damages, pending settlements, industry response, and the implications of the impending designation of certain PFAS as “hazardous substances” under CERCLA. Learn about how the many state laws that are in effect, or soon-to-be in effect, are regulating or limiting certain PFAS chemicals in consumer products.
