Erik Olson was quoted in the article "LinkedIn Loses Data Appeal" in CDR Magazine.
In the article, Erik said: We are pleased to see that the Ninth Circuit has again affirmed, in light of the Supreme Court’s decision in Van Buren v United States, the preliminary injunction that our firm helped hiQ to obtain in the district court. While not a ruling on the merits of the case, the panel’s most recent decision reaffirms the limits to which large companies can use the Computer Fraud and Abuse Act to stifle competition from innovative startups whose business relies on access to publicly available data.
