Biography

Hilary Krase is a member of the firm’s complex business litigation group.

Hilary has been a member of numerous trial teams, including serving as first chair in a recent jury trial, and has practiced before both federal and state courts as well as in arbitration. Hilary routinely represents clients in shareholder and intra-company disputes, real estate disputes, and antitrust matters. She also advises and litigates in the area of governmental and municipal law both at the trial and appellate level.

Hilary’s practice includes an appellate component, through which she has represented clients before the Ninth Circuit and Federal Circuit as well as the California Court of Appeal. She has also authored several amici briefs both in state and federal court, including recently in the United States Supreme Court.

Hilary prides herself on her attention to detail and her enthusiasm for research. She works with clients from the inception of the case to tell a story, whether it be through pleadings, oral argument, or ultimately trial.

Prior to joining Farella Braun + Martel, Hilary clerked for the Honorable Jesus G. Bernal of the Central District of California. During law school, she externed for the Honorable William Alsup of the Northern District of California.
