Biography

Hilary Krase is a member of the firm’s complex business litigation group as well as its white-collar defense and corporate investigations practice. 

Hilary has been a member of trial teams and practiced before both federal and state courts. Her experience spans an array of subject matters including but not limited to antitrust, healthcare, shareholder and intra-company disputes, consumer goods, and intellectual property. Her antitrust experience includes a matter in the Northern District of California in which she represented plaintiffs and litigated issues related to monopolization, boycott, class certification, and damages.

Additionally, she has represented several clients in arbitration, including a week-long hearing before a panel of arbitrators which resulted in a favorable award for her clients. Hilary’s practice also includes an appellate component, through which she has represented clients before the Ninth Circuit and Federal Circuit as well as the California Courts of Appeal.

Hilary prides herself on her attention to detail and her enthusiasm for research. She works with clients from the inception of the case to tell a story, whether it be through pleadings, oral argument, or ultimately trial. Hilary has experience at all stages of litigation, including overseeing discovery, conducting legal research, drafting pleadings, and engaging in settlement negotiations. 

Prior to joining Farella Braun + Martel, Hilary clerked for the Honorable Jesus G. Bernal of the Central District of California. During law school, she externed for the Honorable William Alsup of the Northern District of California.
