Alexis Sinclair Joins Farella Braun + Martel’s Financial Services Industry Group

SAN FRANCISCO, October 14, 2020: Northern California legal powerhouse Farella Braun + Martel is pleased to announce that business transactions lawyer Alexis Sinclair has joined the firm as special counsel in its Financial Services Industry Group. 

”We are delighted to welcome Alexis to Farella,” said Mary McCutcheon, insurance recovery partner and chair of the firm’s Financial Services Industry Group. “We are excited by the added depth he brings to our banking practice with his wealth of experience working with major institutional and other lenders on a variety of financing transactions.”

Alexis represents major institutional and other lenders and borrowers in connection with many different types of financing transactions including syndicated lending transactions (secured and unsecured), asset-based and cash flow lending, agricultural lending, cross-border lending, real estate secured lending, construction lending, private client lending, acquisition finance, and second lien, mezzanine and subordinated loans.  Financing transactions have encompassed a wide variety of industries, including technology, food and beverage, agriculture, manufacturing, retail, real estate development, ski resorts, energy, healthcare, fund financing, and transportation. Alexis also has significant experience representing lenders in connection with workouts and restructurings, including agents for syndicates of lenders as well as groups of lenders within lending syndicates. Alexis earned his J.D. from Georgetown University Law Center and a B.A. from Georgetown University.
