Sarah Good Reappointed to State Bar of California Board of Trustees
Northern California legal powerhouse Farella Braun + Martel is pleased to announce that Partner and Chief Talent and Inclusion Officer Sarah A. Good has been reappointed to the State Bar of California’s Board of Trustees by the Supreme Court of California for a four-year term beginning September 20.
The Board of Trustees is the governing body that establishes the strategic direction for the State Bar and ensures that the organization is fulfilling its statutory mission. Sarah was initially appointed to the 13-member body on January 26, 2023.
With over 30 years of experience in complex commercial, consumer, and securities litigation matters, Sarah represents companies and their officers and directors in securities class actions, derivative litigation and governmental investigations, and litigation. She has served as independent outside counsel in conducting internal investigations into alleged misfeasance in a wide variety of areas and serves as personal counsel for C-suite executives and directors in governmental and internal investigations.
In addition to her legal practice, Sarah serves as Farella’s Chief Talent and Inclusion Officer, allowing her to pursue her twin passions of educating and mentoring the next generation of young lawyers and working towards greater diversity and inclusion in the legal profession and community. With Sarah guiding the firm’s efforts, Farella earned Midsize Mansfield Certification Plus status in 2023 and has reaffirmed its commitment for the 2024-2025 certification period.
