Farella Braun + Martel is proud to announce that Jaya Bajaj has been named to Lawyers of Color’s 2022 Hot List. The annual list recognizes early- to mid-career attorneys excelling in the legal profession. Lawyers of Color is a nonprofit devoted to promoting diversity in the legal profession and advancing democracy and equality in marginalized communities.

Jaya represents employers in single-plaintiff, class, and representative actions with a focus on the technology and consumer products industries. She litigates disputes regarding discrimination, harassment, retaliatory discharge, and wage and hour law in federal and state courts, before administration agencies, and before arbitrators. She also counsels clients on a wide range of employment matters, including on developing employment policies, conducting investigations, overseeing leaves of absence and accommodations, and managing workplace disputes. Jaya earned her J.D. from Northwestern Pritzker School of Law in 2017.

The Lawyers of Color Hot List honorees, who include in-house counsel, government attorneys, and law firm associates, were chosen by a selection committee, composed of the editorial staff, fellows and advisers, who spent months reviewing nominations and researching legal publications in order to identify promising candidates.
