Rebecca Stephens Accepted to ABA Section of Labor and Employment Law’s 2021 Leadership Development Program

June 30, 2021 Announcement

Farella Braun + Martel is proud to announce that Rebecca Stephens was selected to be a member of the American Bar Association Section of Labor and Employment Law’s 2021 Leadership Development Program (LDP).

The LDP is intended to identify a diverse group of current and potential leaders from all constituencies, to engage and further involve them in the ABA's Section of Labor and Employment Law, and to give them the tools to move into new or additional leadership positions to promote the section’s goals.

Rebecca counsels clients on employment law matters, including employment policies, workplace investigations, accommodations and leaves of absence, and separations from employment. She represents employers in single-plaintiff and class and representative action matters in federal and state courts, including wage and hour disputes and wrongful termination, retaliation, and discrimination cases. Rebecca is chair of the Bar Association of San Francisco’s Barristers Labor & Employment Executive Committee. She is a member of the ABA Labor and Employment Law Section’s planning committee for the National Symposium on Technology in Labor & Employment, is co-chair of the Litigation and Class Action Track planning committee for the Section of Labor & Employment Law annual conference, and is co-chair of the Outreach to Law Students Committee. She is a member of the 2021 class of Leadership Council on Legal Diversity (LCLD) Pathfinders. She also serves on the board of directors for Mission Graduates.
