Biography
Jennifer Bentley is a member of Farella Braun + Martel's insurance recovery group.
Prior to joining Farella, she served as a law clerk to the Honorable Paula A. Nakayama on the Supreme Court of Hawai‘i. During law school, she served as a judicial extern to the Honorable Chief Judge Phyllis J. Hamilton of the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California and as a certified law clerk at the U.S. Attorney's Office in the Tax Division. Jennifer participated in the Hastings Appellate Project, where she was part of a team representing a pro bono client and participated in oral argument before the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals, obtaining a favorable decision for the client.
Prior to her legal career, Jennifer worked in the field of commercial insurance on the broker side, where she managed a large book of business focused on the wine, construction, manufacturing, and agribusiness industries.
