Kyle was born and raised in Marin County, where he lives today with his wife, Shaina, and their two dogs, Hobbes (a golden retriever, named after the tiger, not the philosopher) and Lady (a Siberian husky, known for her cameos on zoom meetings). When Kyle is not in the office, he’s outside: mountain biking, trail running with the dogs, body surfing at Stinson Beach (or Maui, if he’s lucky), and snowboarding at Palisades. Kyle is an avid and long-suffering 49ers, Sharks, and Golden Bears fan, though that suffering is lessened by also being a Warriors and Giants fan. In his previous life, Kyle was a senior editor for Bay Area Sports Guy, where he spent years covering all of those Bay Area sports teams.
