Kelly Matayoshi Joins UC Hastings Law Center for Litigation and Courts Advisory Board

May 12, 2021 Announcement

Farella Braun + Martel is proud to announce that partner Kelly Matayoshi has joined the five-member advisory board for the UC Hastings Law Center for Litigation and Courts

The nonpartisan Center for Litigation and Courts was established in 2020 to expand the knowledge of civil litigation, alternative dispute resolution, and the courts; to disseminate that knowledge to the bench, bar, legal academy, and lay public; and to supply resources and guidance to members of the UC Hastings Law community interested in civil litigation. In addition to offering its own products and programs, the Center for Litigation and Courts serves as the umbrella organization for other UC Hastings Law institutes and projects focused on litigation or courts.

Kelly represents a broad range of local and international companies with complex contract disputes, products liability claims, and subrogation defense. She has extensive experience defending clients in the consumer products space. She also represents employers on a range of causes of action, including wrongful termination and class action wage and hour disputes. She is the immediate past president of both the Barristers Club of the Bar Association of San Francisco and the UC Hastings Board of Governors. She serves on the board of directors of the Asian American Bar Association of the Greater Bay Area and is the former co-chair of the ABA Section of Litigation’s Labor & Employment Committee. Kelly received her J.D., magna cum laude, from UC Hastings Law in 2012.
