Biography
Tim Horgan-Kobelski has a commercial litigation practice with a focus on intellectual property and technology disputes. His experience has included patent and trademark infringement and trade secret disputes involving a range of technologies in the biotechnology, computer graphics, software, microelectronics, and semiconductor industries.
Tim has experience arguing discovery, claim-construction, and law-and-motion hearings. He has drafted briefs at all stages of litigation, including summary judgment and appeal. His experience managing cases ranges from small pre-litigation disputes to complex patent cases with multiple patent families, multiple defendants, and international third-party discovery.
Tim was a law clerk for Justice Monica M. Márquez of the Colorado Supreme Court and a judicial extern for Chief Magistrate Judge Joseph C. Spero of the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California.
