“Farella Braun + Martel Sets Things Right for Permanently Injured Bicyclist”

Farella’s Thomas Mayhew, Alex Reese and Julia Kropp represented a permanently injured bicyclist in a challenging case through the Bar Association of San Francisco’s Justice & Diversity Center’s Federal Pro Bono Project. The court had granted the government’s motion to dismiss with prejudice, but against the odds, the Farella team won a motion to reconsider, defeated the government’s complex motion for summary judgment, and obtained a $775,000 settlement for the client.
