"Farella Adds Two IP Litigators"

Jim Day joins Farella as an intellectual litigation partner from Latham & Watkins and Winston Liaw joins Farella as an intellectual property litigation associate from Keker & Van Nest.

In the article, Stephanie Skaff, chair of Farella's IP litigation department, said Day will give the firm a new capacity to handle inter partes review and other proceedings before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office.  In the past, Farella has partnered with other firms to represent its clients before the patent office.  Day added, "I'm hoping that here we can start up [a patent office practice] as an adjunct to what is already a great IP litigation group."
