In the article, Winston said, "Your friends and colleagues will often tell you what you want to hear. A good mentor will tell you what you need to hear. I think the most important thing an associate can do is meet great mentors and sponsors. You want mentors who are supportive, have your best interest in mind, and also aren’t afraid to tell you when you’re messing up.”
