Jeff Hamilton is moderating the Bar Association of San Francisco Cannabis Law Section program "The Cannabis Cultivar Conundrum: Best Practices to Document and Protect Cannabis Genetics" featuring Dale C. Hunt, Ph.D., JD, Founder & Senior Attorney, Plant & Planet Law Firm. 

This program is intended to be a general introduction to best practices for documenting and protecting plant breeders’ intellectual property rights in their unique cultivars. The program will introduce the concept of plant patents and other available intellectual property protections, and draw comparisons between the cannabis industry and other agricultural industries.
