Mark Weaver is a featured panelist at the Regional Parks Foundation's 7th Annual Hot Topics in Charitable Planning Seminar virtual program, "Unpacking the Election Results: Assessing the Biden Tax Plan Following the Senate Vote in Georgia, and a Review of Property Tax Changes in California and Other Recent Developments."

Session Overview: 

  • Provide an overview and assess viability of the Biden tax plan – including potential compromise legislation – considering the configuration of the Senate following the run-off races in Georgia;
  • Discuss changes and give planning tips regarding the parent-to-child exclusion property tax regime in California resulting from the passage of Proposition 19; and
  • Look at developments in the individual and fiduciary income tax regimes over the past year, including major changes to retirement account rules as a result of the SECURE Act.
