Farella Braun + Martel Names New Partners Jesse Debban and Mark Weaver

SAN FRANCISCO, January 14, 2015 – Farella Braun + Martel LLP announces the election of senior associates Jesse B. Debban and Mark T. Weaver to the partnership effective January 1, 2015.

Jesse Debban is a member of Farella’s Business Transactions Group, where he advises clients on a wide range of transactional matters, including mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, asset sales and securities offerings. He has significant experience advising private and public companies on corporate governance matters, SEC reporting obligations, regulatory compliance issues and fiduciary duties. His clients include individuals, investment funds and private and public companies from a range of industries, such as mobile technology, e-commerce, private equity, wine and spirits, professional services and renewable energy. Debban earned his J.D. from the University of California, Los Angeles School of Law (2006).

Mark Weaver is a member of Farella’s Family Wealth Group, where he advises high-net worth individuals and families with estate and business succession planning and wealth preservation objectives. He also advises winery and vineyard owners on a broad range of business, tax and succession issues. A special focus of Weaver’s practice involves counseling clients on cross-border issues, including estate planning advice for clients with beneficiaries and/or assets that are located in multiple countries, as well as for individuals planning to enter or leave the United States. Weaver earned his J.D. from the University of Southern California Gould School of Law (2005).
