Farella Braun + Martel was proud to collaborate with Stanford Law School to pilot the new SLS Launch program. This weeklong initiative welcomed its inaugural cohort from the Class of 2029 to campus from August 17 to 21. The program is designed to introduce students to academic, professional, and community-building resources, helping them start law school with confidence.

As part of the SLS Launch programming, Farella Co-Managing Partner Holly Sutton participated in an alumni panel with Chris Middleton (staff attorney with Youth Law Center) and Luke Liss (pro bono partner with Wilson Sonsini). The session focused on navigating law school and the legal profession, particularly for first-generation and low-income law students. The discussion covered topics such as understanding academic culture, thriving in a high-pressure environment, building professional relationships, and developing the confidence and judgment necessary for a successful transition into legal practice.
