Farella Names Rebecca Stephens and Nadia Arid As LCLD 2021 Pathfinders

Farella Braun + Martel is proud to announce that senior associate Rebecca Stephens and associate Nadia Arid were selected to be members of the 2021 class of Leadership Council on Legal Diversity (LCLD) Pathfinders. The Pathfinders Program is designed to assist high-performing, early-career attorneys with critical career advancement strategies including leadership techniques and the development of professional networks.

Rebecca counsels clients on employment law matters, including employment policies, workplace investigations, accommodations and leaves of absence, and separations from employment. She represents employers in single-plaintiff and class and representative action matters in federal and state courts, including wage and hour disputes and wrongful termination, retaliation, and discrimination cases. Rebecca is chair of the Bar Association of San Francisco’s Barristers Labor & Employment Executive Committee. She is a member of the ABA Labor and Employment Law Section’s planning committee for the National Symposium on Technology in Labor & Employment, is co-chair of the Litigation and Class Action Track planning committee for the Section of Labor & Employment Law annual conference, and is co-chair of the Outreach to Law Students Committee. She also serves on the board of directors for Mission Graduates. Rebecca earned her J.D. from Northwestern University School of Law in 2013.

Nadia represents companies and individuals in complex intellectual property and business litigation disputes. She has represented clients across the nation on cases involving patent infringement, antitrust, trade secret, and unfair competition claims. She has experience in all phases of litigation including at trial and at the appellate level and advocates on behalf of clients at mediations. Nadia serves on the board of directors for San Francisco La Raza Lawyers Association and the Silicon Valley Urban Debate League and has chaired Farella’s Diversity Pipeline Internship Program since 2018. She received her J.D. from Harvard Law School in 2016.
